I am linking up for H54F this week with Becky, Katie, Della and Tif to share 5 photos from our family trip to Waterton Lakes National Park. We headed out on holidays bright and early Saturday morning. It borders Glacier National Park in Montana to form an International Peace Park. It was beautiful!
The view from The Prince of Wales hotel.
Riding a "Surrey" bicycle around the Waterton town site. I loved that they had a child seat in front!
Upper Waterton Lake. The hotel in the background is The Prince of Wales Hotel.
Parks Canada put these red chairs in all of their parks this year to celebrate Canada150.
Miss. E loved the playground at Waterton. It had a small playground for younger children, a larger playground, a rock that you could climb and a spray park. It was a great setup!
I hope you have a fabulous weekend! My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in Texas.
Aww, looks like such a fun time!! And I am all about Fall too! Bring on sweatshirts, long sleeves an layers!ReplyDelete
Amen! I am so ready to bust out the sweaters!Delete

It was beautiful! I hope you get the chance to visit someday. We do have some spectacular scenery up here.Delete
That park looks so beautiful! Also, random, but it cracked me up that you guys stayed at the Prince of Wales Hotel because I used to follow hockey pretty religiously and, as you may know, the team that wins the Eastern Conference gets the Prince of Wales trophy! So I'm envisioning the hotel being filled with replicas of that trophy, haha!ReplyDelete

LOL! That is too funny! I didn't know the specific name of the Eastern conference trophy. I grew up with some avid hockey fans, so I am actually surprised I didn't know that. The hotel sadly doesn't have any trophies, just a lonely ghost haunting one of the guest rooms! ;) (I deleted the previous comment because I hadn't checked it and it was full of mistakes and typos! Yikes!)Delete
