High Five For Friday- 05.06.15

Hi Everyone!

We are battling colds/coughs over here after our big weekend.  Turns out that very little sleep equals the perfect breeding ground for colds!  Ha ha.  Anywho....

1.). The party was perfect.  Everyone made it and there was a lot of laughter and love.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful, caring people in our lives.

2.). My cake turned out great!  It was a princess dress pull apart cake.  I found the idea on Pinterest.

3.). My peas and carrots are up!  I am so excited.  It has been extremely dry so I am happy to see any action in my garden.

4.).  I asked Miss. E to say thank you after opening her gifts and SHE DID!  She has been saying it home for a few weeks.  Whenever we try to "show off" a new skill, however, she usually clams up.  But, SHE DID IT!  Ha ha!  It was so sweet.

5.). Hubby and I had another date night and we went to see 'Pitch Perfect 2'.  Sooooooo funny!  Hubby was even laughing out loud!  I love Fat Amy.  She makes the show!  It was a fun night out.

Have a great weekend!

  3. Nice job on the cake. Very pretty. I bet it is still swimming in your head that she turned one! Saying thank you, will be on her way to more words very soon. Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Thanks, Muchelle! It seems crazy to me that I have a one year old. She is becoming quite grown up and independent. Hard to believe! I hope you had a great weekend, as well!

    1. Thanks! The cake turned out better than I thought it would! My crafting skills are generally pretty limited. I was shocked that she left the crown on for as long as she did. :)
