1.) Anniversary Date Night. Last Friday, Hubby and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. We went to the city for supper and then saw a movie. We saw The Intern, which was pretty good. Except for one part. I can't tell you because that would be a spoiler. Ha ha. We enjoyed our date and had a great time.
2.) Yard Cleanup Complete. We had been hit with a hard frost the week prior, so my flowers were all wilted and some were dead. I pulled everything out of the garden and flower beds and we took it to the compost at the dump. It was a cold day and I swear I had a few snowflakes hit me. They were melting immediately, but still! Brrr! I was all decked out in my toque and winter coat.
3.) Vlogtober! I have been participating in Vlogtober, as hosted by Whitney at Come Home For Comfort. Here is my latest vlog. Check out the other ladies vlogging this month, as well! You can find the links to the other ladies' channels on my latest Youtube video's "info" section.
4.) Date Night #2. My husband and I attended a supper and comedy night in support of Wounded Warriors. They are a group who provide support to veterans after they return home from active duty. The food was delicious, the comedian was funny, and it was all for a great cause. We had a fun night!
5.) The Northern Lights On our way home from date night, the northern lights were amazing! The sky was lit up with green and pink northern lights dancing around in the sky. Hubby and I pulled over to watch them. I don't think I have ever seen northern lights so beautiful. It was breathtaking.
How was your week? If you want to join in H54F, link up with the lovely ladies below! Have a great weekend! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian readers!
Oh boy, if you're seeing snowflakes in October, I am REALLY glad I don't live in Canada! haha I hate the cold and am dreading winter! Also, I kind of want to see The Intern too, so I'm glad you liked it! And your fall decorations look great! Happy Thanksgiving!! :)ReplyDelete
Ha ha! Yup, we are made tough up here. 2 years ago we got heavy snow in the third week of October and it didn't melt until the 2nd week of May! It was terrible! I was convinced Spring was never coming. That winter was way too long!Delete
Happy Friday! Stopping by from H54F. :) Glad you and your hubby enjoyed a fun night out celebrating your anniversary! Cute fall outdoor decor vlog! Loving the fun prompts Whitney came up with for Vlogtober! Have a great weekend!ReplyDelete

They were a blast! I hope you have a great weekend!Delete
My father use to live in Canada and I remember celebrating it with him and then again in the states in November. This post reminded me of those times. To see you all bundled up for the cold. Winter is around the corner. Takes a bit longer here in NC.ReplyDelete
That is neat! Where did your father live in Canada? The weather is a bit mixed here. It can be cold and then it warms up a bit. Thank goodness.Delete
I would love to see the Northern Lights! I can't believe it's already so cold for you guys, but I love your outside decor! And yay for date nights (happy anniversary) and that blanket scarf I spy!!ReplyDelete
They were stunning! Northern lights are quite the experience. I am in love with my blanket scarf. We were seated under a vent that was blowing cold air. The scarf kept me warm!Delete
